Thanks Diana!
I had seen the cover on a Vid from one of the recent book festivals and it looked good but it wasn't very clear.

The thing I love about Greek Myths is that they're not that sexist and all.
Like Athena being the goddess of wisdom and war.
And Nike being the goddess of victory.
It's not like men are the gods of better things or whatever, the women have some pretty good ones.
I can't wait till whenever it's coming out!
I sincerely hope the Angus&Robertson doesn't shut down soon, since it's my closest book source.

I'm really excited about it too. The only thing is it comes out durign the beginning of finals for me so it will be a distraction. I'm so gald it takes place in Florida too. I've actually been there, to the keys I mean. Obviously, not Isla Huesos though (that's a made up island isn't it) but I've been to Key Largo and Meg did a great job describing the climate. I think I'm going to like Abandon t as much I like The Mediator series just from the sneak peak we got is any indication.

I know!
I think I might love it as much as I love 'The Mediator' series,
and that's saying a lot, since that is my favorite series EVER.
But Abandon sounds EXCELLENT. I can't wait to read it all.
I've never been to Florida but since Meg lives there I'm sure
she's describing the weather perfectly.

From what I've read/seen of Abandon so far which isn't much I think it sort of has similar elements to The Mediator series adn that's why I'm digging it so far. Here's the similarities I've noticed.
1) Moving to a new tropical (or semi-tropical in Carmel's case) climate.
2) Troubled heroines: It appears that Pierce is as misunderstood as Suze was in Shadowland
3) Changes in family: In the Mediator Suze's Mom got remarried and she got "blessed" with having the three dwarfs for brothers (though David is pretty cool), in Abandon Pierce's parents broke up and she's now now reconnecting with her cooky family.
Of course, there are definite differences between the stories. But I'm definitely reminded of the Mediator here which is always a good thing.

I've not noticed! well I have but I guess I just didn't connect the two,
but it's true, we might be having a tie on favorite series :o
well have to see,
in the midtime I'll be in my rocking chair petting my stuffed animal and staring into space,
that's what people do whil waiting for new books right?
PS. aw, I also loved Sleepy! he was definitely swoon worthy.

If it is a zipper for a body bag that creeps me out even more, lol. I really can't wait for this book. I hope it released sort of like the Airhead series was-I was always able to find it out a couple weeks early in the book store. Because I can't wait to get my hands on it that and I'd like to read it before finals which are going on during its actual release date.
