Yah, my former best friend Julia used to have a lot of their stuff back in the elementary days now that you mention it. :P Of course I don't catch onto the bandwagon until now...Lol. I usually use Revlon, Maybelline, L'Oreal, Rimmel etc, but I tend to use Clarins for foundation most of the time.

I use a bunch of different brands ^_^
♥ Urban Decay (for my primer and eyeshadow palettes)
♥ Lise Watier (I love their black féline felt-tip liquid liner & glitter liners and I'm obsessed with their tinted moisturizer right now because my skin is really dry)
> MAC (for lip glosses, lipsticks, and eyeshadows)
♥ Faces (for mineral foundation, powder, blush, and bronzer)
♥ Bourjois (for mascara)
♥ Quo (for lipstick and false eyelashes)
> Maybelline (for eyeshadow)
♥ Rimmel (for mascara, pencil liners, and cheap make-up) :P

Suze, would you happen to have a pear/diamond shape face? If so, then I'd say long-ish side bangs/fringe that isn't in your face too much would be good :D

And yaay, you dyed it! I'm sure it looks fantastic :D

But when I got a full fringe, it was really thick, and took ages to train since I had a side-fringe previously. Then when I wanted a side-fringe, THAT took ages to train aswell. ARRHH.
when you get your fringe re-cut though, if it's thick and untrained, get whoever cuts your hair to thin it out a tad.

I cut my own hair though, so I don't have to worry about hairdressers mucking it up.

I once tried cutting my own hair and it looked sooo terrible. Like I was doing it with my eyes closed (which I obviously wasn´t). My fringe was very short on one side and very long on the other and I looked so terrible I nearly didn´t go to school the next day. :lol: I will never do that again.

It depends on your natural hair color, eye color and skin color to determine would suit you, because everyone is different, but maube just start a few shades away from your own, in a nice rich color. If you're not sure if you'll like it, try going a lighter brown at first and then darker, because once you go really dark, it's so hard to go back (I would know) :)

but I wish i could wear fantastic platforms and such. I'm really abnormally tall, so i just tower over everyone even if my shoes are like half an inch high.

Do it! But you'd have to use a special toner for it to be ashy, and remove the copper undertones.

oh boy.
Let me tell you what happened to my hair.

So earlier today, I bleached it with Manic Panic 30 volume bleach, which is just a fancy brand of 30 vol bleach. I left it on for an hour. It lightned my was faded Hi-octane Orange Special effects dye to a grow lemony yellow. It did literally NOTHING to my roots. NOTHING.
I then put Manic Panic Virgin Snow purple toner, in hopes to remove the yellow copper tones.
Once again.
NOTHING.
So now, here I sit with Manic Panic Hot Hot Pink in my hair, my Manic Panic Atomic Turquoise gone to waste and hair damaged as hell from the bleaching and mutliple dying.

Moral of the story: NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER USE MANIC PANIC NO MATTER HOW DESPERATE YOU ARE I BEG OF YOU.

Ugh.
