So guys, since in AAG, Sam has to judge the "From My Window" contest, I thought we could put here what we'd paint if we had the chance to enter that contest.

I would just see an open prairie, with a lot of dead, brown shrubs and our neighbor's house about a quater mile away. Oh, and to the way left, if you stand in the right spot, you can see a barn with the paint peeling. I live on a ranch in Texas.

Right now, as I look out my window, I can see tree after tree (my house is behind a forest). They are all sprinkled with snow, and snow is floating gently to the ground, it's so pretty... That's what I can see from my window. Alas, that's what I would draw.

Well, there's a big window by my computer so I'll look out that. I see a back patio that's just concrete- looks like a very large sidewalk. Then there's a shrub. Beyond the shrub there are a bunch of trees lining our backyard.

To the right I can see the neighbor's horse ring with a bunch of jumps set up and a pink golf cart in the middle.

To the left I can see my yard with dying grass and a fence peeking behind some trees. Our neighbor's swing set is behind that fence. And I can just barely see their house.

Ooh, good idea! :] From my bedroom window, I can see a part of my roof, and a part of my next door neighbor's house. And some tree's...and other houses and the rest of my street. And their cars and stuff.

Not very exciting, lol.

First of all: I can't paint or draw. ;)

But the view is beautiful from my window. I see near our garden and flower garden, our cow barn and the other animals. And I see far the big meadow behind the garden with some fishponds and the wide forest. I think I can't explain enough good this fantastic picture. :)
I live in a small and adorable village.

I would draw my neighbors house across the street. They have a beautiful garden, so that would make up for my horrible drawing skills! :mgwave:

I live on a Texas rach too! I would paint our front pasture with our horses, and a few small mesquite trees. Sometimes my dog is out there with the horses, so she would be in it too.

Well I would have to disagree. All you're saying is what you see outside your window, not your street name or anything. There are lots of people with trees lining their backyard or live on ranches (ever visit Iowa or central Illinois?).
