Was it just me or was all American girl, not as great as I expected it to be because I think that the rest of the Meg Cabot books are waayy better, but that's just my opinion, please don't get mad at me.

I really liked it, but I guess it depends on what order you read her books in. Like, if you read them in the order that they came out, they just keep getting better, so it's easier to see how good it is. AAG was one of the first MC book I read, so I liked it a lot. I don't know, though. You're probably not the only one.

AAg is the first one i read and thought it was awesome! so i looked her up and i found princess diaries. i thought it would be stupid and childish since a lot of 7 year olds have watched The PD movie ( not that i don't like it just it is disney...)

I read a few books before this, not sure which, and I like this better than some, worse than others. I remember for awhile I was reading only Meg Cabot because that was all the library had ^_^. This book is pretty good, I think, but I can definitely name by Meg that I like better. Not the worst, though.

Of all meg's book AAG was my least favorite book.I found it so boring that i didn't even read RoN.So I'm with you on this.

well..... unlike the other books i didnt really connect wiv any of the other characters and the plot wasnt THAT interesting..... i didnt hate it but i just didnt like it very much...

I agree with what you said. I really liked All-American Girl but I didn't like Ready or Not. She was totally different and I didn't like how it ended.
However, I did read the PD books first and I liked All-American Girl just fine even though I read those first.

I actually read RON first, because it was a gift and I didn't know it was a sequel.
It was the first Meg book I had ever read and I liked it enough at the time to read every other Meg book since.
Once I read AAG I noticed more that she was kind of annoying in RON.
I could tell the whole time that she was overreacting over nothing.

I actually agree.. I think she could have made it more juicy and instead of the end being all happy she should have ended it in question so that you WOULD read the next book.. But thats just me.. :D

in fact when i first the summary i thought it looked kind of boring but i still read it, and i really like it, but i can say i like AAG better than RON i don't know, i just felt like it was this never-ending sex-talking, and sam deciding if she should say yes to sex take the whole book,
i dont know it bored me a little, i finished it in a day anyway i just wish there would have been more adventours for sam and david

Like other people have said, it is better than some, and worse than others.
Like, the Airhead triology was wayyyy better.
But, AAG was less cliched than some of the standalones, for example.
(Aside from Avalon High and Jinx, that is.)
Also, RON /was/ a bit of a disappointment.
AAG was multitudes better.
