I just finished watching the new episode of Corey in the House(yeah, I know, I'm a major dork)with Raven as the guest star. Any one besides me notice that Raven was supposed to be Sam if there was a movie made and Sam saves the president in the book, and in the episode of Corey in the House Raven saves the president? I KNOW Meg didn't sell the rights and this isn't exactly plagerism, but doesn't anybody think it's just a little odd?

There was a film to be based on the book, starring Raven-Symoné as Samantha. However, after much controversy for casting Raven , black girl, in the part of red-haired white girl Samantha, Disney stopped production on the film. Meg Cabot has now categorically stated on her website that Disney has no plans to make a film of All-American Girl, since the film rights have now returned to her and are not under option to any other producers
