The winners will be chosen from here! So answer these two VERY difficult questions below:
What would be the hardest food for you to give up (in order to get healthy), and what would be the hardest technology for you to do without (such as TV, cell phone, Internet, cars, etc)?
For me: Chocolate chip cookie dough (although breaking the diet soda addiction was definitely worst) and the Internet! (Although makeup would be hard for me to give up, too.)
You have five days from now to post! We'll let you know who the winners are, and then how to submit your addresses to get your prizes!
Read Fat Cat! You’ll love it!

The hardest food for me to give up would have to be My M&M's. I keep a giant bag of them next to my laptop so that while I am doing my school work I can nibble on them. They are always handy. There are days that they are the only thing I eat because I have too much work to get off the computer!

It's pratically in my ears 24/7.I don't think I could live without it. Okay I'm being dramatic
but I love my ipod! It's like a place I can retreat to when my mom's shouting at me!
The hardest food for me to give up two weeks ago would have been nutella (I ate way too much
of that stuff !) now it's probably mini pancakes, which aren't THAT unhealthy, just I eat them
in vast quantities. Perferably with nutella on them, but whatever.
If I had to life without the above, I would go crazy, well crazier then I already am.

The hardest technology for me to give up would be TV. I watch TV ALL the time. How could I survive without all the good looking male characters to look at!

The hardest technology would be my iPod, which contains my music (oh, MUSIC!), my books (yes, I like hiding them on something that will always be near me), and movies. I'm always listening to iPod, is such a great thing to do when you want to ignore the rest of the world! (or, should I say, always?)

The hardest technology would be my laptop. I am constantly either writing or going on the Internet. Oh, and watching TV. Basically I spend way too much time on the computer :D

The technology that would be hardest for me to give up would be my mac laptop, simply because it is my life. It has all my pictures, word documents, i need it for homework, for my music, to look for books, to catch up on the tv shows i missed, to type of my stories, to chat with my friends online... I would be lost and confused without my laptop; who i named Duchess.

A technology I couldn't live without would be my laptop. Why? I mean, come on. I can go on hulu and catch up on White Collar, and SVU. And House. And then there's the godly YouTube with amazing music. Not to mention that without Word, I don't know how I would continue on living. Sometimes I'll just open it up just because I like seeing words appear in front of me. It's soothing. How can anyone live without a computer? ): Music, friends, (FB stalking), Word, and television. Could anything better ever be invented?

Internet would be the hardest technology to give up. I talk to many of my friends who I don't see at school online. Relatives who have moved to other states and far away from our home town update me on their situations via the internet. It'd be extremely hard not knowing what is going on. Also, research would be a LOT harder without the internet for easy access. Not having internet would make me write more however. I'm not completely dependent on the internet, but it is in my daily routine. I can't even begin to imagine how much I would get done without it (I would get a ton of things done without that distraction.)

The hardest technology to give up would be my computer. It is my communication to the outside world. Facebook, itunes, MCMB, plus how would one type any essay without it? Without computers life is not worth living. haha

For me: Chocoaltes would be the hardest to give up, since I'm a big chocoholic..none of that would mean the sweetness gone from the world!! The thought of not tasting a chocolate is unbearable!
And my Ipod would be VERY hard to give up since my ipod is my life. Music, camera...everything I love..it has it, so I cant bear to give mine up.

The hardest piece of technology for me to give up is my kindle. I know it's not the normal thing to be devastated to give up, but I LOVE to read. A book per week is my usual time span. Unless the book is really good, then I usually stay up extremely late trying to read as much as possible. Now don't get me wrong, I love reading books made from paper. I love the feel of the book and I know the EXACTLY what a certain book smells like. However, I hate having to wait until my parents drive me to either the bookstore or the library. So, without my kindle I would have some serious depression issues.

My addiction to blogs of all sorts would make the internet the hardest thing for me to give up. When I don't have a book I can always count on a blog to give me some reading material for at least an hour or so.

The hardest technological object for me to give us is my gameboy, just because it tends to help me unwind after a long day of school.

As for the hardest technology for me to give up, it would have to be my computer and high speed internet. I use it to watch TV, instructional videos, and for staying in touch with family and friends.

The technology that would be the most difficult for me to give up would be the computer/internet. A lot of people would probably answer cell phone, but I often go a day without texting or calling a single person. The internet, on the other hand, I use constantly. Between streaming music, watching youtube videos, talking to my friends on facebook, the majority of my day is spent at the computer. It makes me sick to think about how much more I would get accomplished if I spent all the time I spend on facebook daily studying instead.

The hardest technology to give up would be the internet. I rely on it so much; to keep in contact with others, do school work/research, to keep up to date on world events and pop culture, find out when a new book is coming out ;). The internet is just something that has become an every day part of life and it would be odd not to have use of it anymore.

The hardest technology for me to live without would actually be a car I think. I don't really remember what it was like living without a computer since by the time I was born, PCs did exist, but sometimes I actually wish computers didn't exist. I waste HOURS on the computer when I should be doing my homework and my back always aches after getting off of the computer. A car though, I literally cannot imagine life without a car. I live in a very cold part of the U.S. I am used to being driven around all the time in the winter; I don't know if I'd be able to handle walking everywhere in the freezing cold. Cars are so convenient! My family has taken long road trips in our car- it's become a staple to American life because it's so useful for transportation. Now, the fact that I am so reliant on a car, as opposed to in Europe where they are much less reliant on cars, is another debate entirely.

My computer is invaluable to me. I use it to communicate with my friends now that we are in different parts of the world. It also allows me to do my school work, watch movies, and listen to music. My computer fulfills my shopping and internet gossip needs as well. I would be quite lost without it.

As for technology, I don't think I could survive without air conditioning. I don't know if that's what you meant, but it seems like the kind of technological advance we take for granted. For houses on the coast (like my mom's), a fan works just fine. But everywhere else? Not so much. Could you imagine living in 90 degree with weather with absolutely no hope of escape?

I think the technology that I would have the most difficulty not using would be the internet. I am on the internet about 80 % of the time im awake. its so useful when looknig things up. I would hate to have to go to a library and read for the information I want. It is so much easier to hit CTRL + F to find the word and read that section around it.

As for the technology, I could not live without my iPhone; the thought of losing my music, internet, and ibooks would destroy me, literally. Besides, Tap Tap Revenge is my therapy for stress.

my favorite technologie to give up would be my ipod. listening to music decides in which mood i am and gives me energy. :icon_mecry2: < me when my ipod would be gone..

I'm inseperable from the computer and internet. It's made research and game playing so much faster and funner. I'd hate to have to go to the library in the next town over just to look something up in a recent encyclopedia. And also I couldn't keep up as easily on my celeb gossip! (This is all assuming we still have indoor plumbing, God, I would die without out clean running water and a sewage system.)

I love vanilla ice-cream. I don’t really like any other flavors much, except for vanilla.
Technology- internet. I live for the internet. (Well I guess that’s not true.) I stay up until seven in the morning on the internet.
I would cry for a whole night if internet assess of the computer was taken away from me.
Who invented this addictive thing they call a computer?
Was it Bill Gates? Because if I ever see him… *Evil laughs*

In short, UConn is nothing without its fabulous ice cream, and I probably would have to transfer schools if I were forced to give it up.
As for technology, I'm not even sure I would technically exist without my laptop. Without it I would have no access to assignments, work schedules, bills, job opportunities, and research-related documents. More importantly, I would have to go without checking Facebook, PassiveAggressiveNotes.com, and AwkwardFamilyPhotos.com, among others. I would then be forced to find some other method of procrastination, which would no doubt annoy my roommates and neighbors. Yodeling, perhaps. Or possibly taxidermy.

The hardest technology to give up would be the computer/internet. As a college student, I am required to do tons of research, for writing papers...so I use the computer and the internet regularly. I would feel so limited without it.
