It does but I'm worried they're not going to stay true to the book. The trailers make it seem like the whole movie revolves around the dad catching the murderer when that's not the whole point of the book at all.

Hey, has anyone ever seen this romantic comedy Continental Divide? It's an 80s flick starring John Belushi as a big city reporter who has to do a story on an eagle biologist (Blair Brown) in the Rockies, and as you can guess, they eventually fall for each other. It's a really cute movie, although the ending is kind of strange. I really like romantic comedies where opposites attract.

Oh, and I also saw Sherlock Holmes a few days ago. RDJ is so funny! Can't wait for Iron Man 2!

Yeah, I read some reviews and that does seem to be the case. The movie was made more as a thriller, when the book isn't really like that. I'm still going to see it, though. Peter Jackson is an amazing director, just visually, and I heard the girl who plays Susie does a really good job.

She was really good in Atonement. Played an awful character, and the movie kind of sucked, but she was good.

It was well made, I just didn't really like the story, and Keira Knightley annoyed me.

Oh, so I saw New Moon last night. My verdict? It pisses me off when a movie series plays musical chairs with directors. Edward looked even more constipated in this movie. Jacob is NOT that hot. Jasper needs to be the star of Twilight, but that might ruin him. KStew is learning how to close her mouth. I still hate Dakota Fanning. And my favorite part was when Bella was upside down in the water and Edward was next to her.

I agree about you with most of this - the director's thing makes me upset, Edward looks terrible - but no, Jacob was definitely hot, hahahaha.

I loved that scene with them in the water. so pretty.

^^ I just don't think Rob Pattinson is meant to be Edward. It doesn't fit. But then I saw the preview for Remember Me, and it seems really good, he is a good actor..just not in the Twilight series in my opinion

Edward is too fictional. No one could play him perfectly. I like Rob as him though. Jacob is hot. ;P
I'm going to see Leap Year on my birthday, SO excited.
Dear John looks so good too!

I started watching 500 days of Summer this morning at my friends house but we didnt finish it so now i cant unless i get it myself. :(
It was really cute.

There's this Renee Zellweger movie called My One And Only. Doubt you've heard of it. But don't watch it. It was awful. The only interesting parts were when her gay teenage son was onscreen and that was barely.

I've never heard it ^^

I was bummed when he died too! The fourth movie in the Harry Potter series was the best one in my opinion.
It stayed closest to the book. But i havent read it in a while. It's probably way different.. I should re-read that one.. anyways, It was my favourite, despite how every single male character had hair to their shoulders. Blah.

I haven't read the books in so long either. I lose interest when I see the movies, that's probably why I haven't bothered reading them again. :P

So has anyone seen Sherlock Holmes? Is it good? :)

I am going to watch "Good Night & Good Luck" tomorrow with my newspaper staff. Has anybody watched it? It's about Senator McCarthy versus Edward R. Murrow. I am quite excited. (:

We just finished Shattered Glass, I think I have seen that movie about a million times ahah. I love that movie though.

Petra - I SAW THAT. Hard Candy, I mean. I was all like "Oh, hey, that's Ellen Page." It was kind of strange. xD I'd watch it, I guess. Since I have already. But you should go for it.
