I just finished The Bitter Kingdom by Rae Carson which was AWESOME! I'm starting to read Exile by Rebecca Lim on my computer, and need to figure out what physical book to read next.

Dude, The Shining has been incredible. What I'd do to write like Stephen King... His words are perfect and his characters are so frighteningly real. Favorite author (welllll, Meg Cabot and John Green might just beat him...).

I need to start The Firm soon, too. I wanted to finish them both on vacation but it looks like I got distracted, lol.

Finally got my hands on an ARC of Awaken.  Can't wait to start it after I finish reading my current book, It Had to Be You by Jill Shalvis.  It's a contemporary adult romance, and I'm really enjoying it.

I am at the end on Fallen by Lauren Kate but I'm only reading it cause I'm waiting for The Mediator book set by Meg Cabot to arrive in the mail. Fallen isn't the kind of book I usually like to read, I'm not really into Angels, I'm more into Death Gods or Death Being and Unassigned Beings (Vampire, ghost, etc...) or Fey Beings like Incubuses or Elves. But not Angels.

Anyway can't wait till The Mediator arrives. ^^

I love Amanda Ashby.  I didn't know she had a new book coming out.  Right now I'm reading Towering by Alex Flinn its supposed to be a Rapunzel retelling, but honestly not really feeling it.  Hope it picks up soon.

She does! I think it's out in early August. Have you read her middle-grade series Sophie's Mixed Up Magic? I've only read the first, but have the second and third in my TBR pile.

I would be all over that!

Oh and I got a review copy of her next one, Fangirl, and I can't wait till I get to it.

Anyway, right now I'm divided between three books:

Rush Me by Allison Parr

Falling Together by Marisa de los Santos

Big Girl Panties by Janet Evanovich.

Right now, BGP is winning in the enjoyment factor.

Yes, the hero is named Ty, and he's the captain of the hockey team.  Faith is the new owner of the team.  I finished the book last night and am now reading the next book in the series, Nothing But Trouble, about Mark and Chelsea.

Are you a fan of Rachel Gibson's books?

Like her older books a lot, the new ones not so much, but they are still pretty good contemporaries.

I am currently reading Prodigy the sequel to Legend by Marie Lu.

Does anyone have any good suggestions for adult dystopian novels?

I'm really interested in books such as Divergent and Legend, however I am not a fan of the Hunger Games.

How was that? I never got around reading that one.

Right now I'm trying to tackle my review pile, and I just finished Once Upon a Prince  - which was a bit too slow and to Christian for me, but not bad in the big scheme of things - and I should be starting the upcoming Sarah Mayberry soon. Aside from that I'm re-reading Princess Diaries 1-3 for a blog event :)
