Haha yeah, my mom and I saw New Moon the other day, and the total cost of our tickets, popcorn, and drinks was $12. xDDD Children tickets are only a dollar, too. But at the normal AMC theater, tickets are like, $8.50. Or something. I rarely see movies there. I usually wait until they go to the little theater (which is on a military base so I make my non-military friends jealous that they can't go there xDDD).

...I got a large popcorn for two dollars when I went to see Sherlock Holmes. :[ That was my successful-money-saving-at-the-movies story.

I have to pay $10.25! My dad says we're going to matinees from now on. Saves us two bucks a person.

My theater back home has $5 dollar tickets Sunday thru Thursday, and they are $8.50 Friday and Saturday. Not too bad, I guess.

I saw Fantastic Mr. Fox today :DDDDD I give it an A+ [x It's so good. I love the animation.

Favorite line:

Ash: You're supposed to be MY lab partner!
Agnes: I am!
Ash: No you're not. You're disloyal.

It just makes you feel really happy inside when you finish watching it.
It was like that for me anyways..

And Matthew Goode is smoking hot. No joke.
He is in another movie i like, called Chasing Liberty. Mandy more is in it. It an old movie. And really good. (:

I saw previews for Dear John and Valentines Day, SO excited!! Does anyone else LOVE watching previews before the movie like i do? Because some people i know hate it.

I like watching the previews. It's just all the unnecessary adverts that I hate, lol.

It is true, they were talking about it on To Write Love On Her Arms' website.

Anyway, did anyone see Post Grad? It's an Alexis Bledel movie, I watched it On Demand last night... it was sort of boring but I like Alexis.

My brother said it wasn't very good.

Watched Slumdog Millionaire last Wednesday. I really, really liked. Normally movies which have been won awards are never that good in my opinion but I thought it was really funny and serious at the same time. I loved the Amitach Bachaan part. Although the guy they got to play him, getting off the helicopter looked a little chubby.

Om Shanti Om is coming on tonight. Don't know if it's any good yet though.

I saw an Australian movie called Bran Nue Dae yesterday. It's an aboriginal musical comedy set in 1969, and it's hilarious! It's one of those movies where everyone in the cinema cracks up laughing all the time. It was really good. It had Jessica Mauboy (Aus Idol), Geoffrey Rush, Magda Szuibanski (not sure how to spell it) and some other people, including Australian singer Missy Higgins. It was brilliant.
I can't wait to see Valentine's Day when it comes out! It looks really good, and it's got so many famous people that i like in it!

Hmm, this new forum look is gonna need some getting used to. >_<

Anyways, during my flight to NZ then to Samoa and vice versa but back to Australia.

I've watched Coraline, Zombieland, This Is It and He's Just Not That Into You.

Coraline was okay.
Zombieland was good.
This Is It was emotionally awesome for me, would've LOVED to see some of it in the concert f'sure. *sigh*
HJNTIY was umm, realistically true but kinda boring. *shrugs*

I LOVE THE FILM!!!!!! It is awesome!!! Quite bloody but it is so good!!

I have read the book as well, I read it after seeing the film. It is really good, I really enjoyed it but it is hard going.

I personally prefer the film, there are some things that have been changed, for example, the reason the main character Louis, acts the way he does. I prefer the reasons in the film, they make more sense and a more believable story.

That probably does not make sense, but you will understand when you watch and read.

I hope you enjoy them Oceana!! Because I really did!! :D :D

I didn't like He's Just Not The Into You.
There are to many story lines that you don't have enough time to get interested in one of them, then it's over. It was dissapointing.

Sadly, I think Valentine's Day will be similar.

^^ I agree. The only reason I want to see it is because the cast is so amazing, not really because of the story line. Because with that many famous people, they will all want camera time obviously, so like you said the stories won't devlop

Yeah, but I saw a movie called Love Actually, and even though that had a lot of storylines in it, I really liked it, and found it very interesting. So maybe Valentine's Day will be good. I guess we'll just have to wait and see :)

Love Actually is one of my favorite movies ever! It's fantastic, and I hope Valentines Day is at least half as good lol. It's about all these different people finding love around Christmas time. It's so adorable, and has a great cast that includes Colin Firth, Keira Knightley, Hugh Grant, Liam Neeson, Emma Thompson, and Bill Nighy.
