Around 9 or 10, and i'm 18 now, so it was quite a while ago, which is probably why I can't remember which book I read first! It was either PD or the mediator :)

I was reorganizing my books the other day and remembered how my dad used to look at them funny because once upon a time, almost have of the books I owned were by Meg Cabot. LOL He was all like "Are they by the same person?" and I was all... "Yeah."

LOL

Allie Finkle Rule's for Girls.
I tried other books, but Meg Cabot lit my book-light. :icon_sunny:
Now I'm the top reader of my class and with the most A.R points!! :icon_study:
But the sad part is that I'm running out of Meg Cabot books to read!! :icon_mecry2:

I actually dont quite remember.

I think the first ones I knew about and saw at my high school library in 8th grade were The Princess Diaries, All American Girl, and The Mediator series, but I didn't pick up the first and the latter until latter on.

However, I was about 14 years old when I brought myself to read the Mediator (the 1st book, then 5th, then 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and finally 6th) and after the first book, my life changed.

Then I sorta became obsessed with the rest of Meg's books :)

It was the first book I ever read, fully by myself, that was longer than 5 pages. I was 7, I believe.

I think I was 11 when I read the first Mediator book. Even today it's still one of my favorite series, because it got me interested in that genre.

I turned 14 the day the first Princess Diaries book was released. My mom let me pick out my own birthday present and I snatched it off the shelf. It's been an ongoing love affair ever since. (This was 11.5 years ago, by the way). Thanks, Meg, for giving me strong-minded characters to grow up alongside.
