I was 12 when I read the Mediator series which was the first ever. I've read 31 of her books and am 14 now :)

13:D Hmm well around da end of 8thgrade for me , i became a huge bookworm :D So over da summer i went 2 da library alot. I saw da cover of Sanctuary(4th book in 1800 series)and i read da back and it seemed interesting. I dont really like reading in between series and not even knoing it, so @ da beginning of da book i was sorta confused, anywayz i luved every second of da book. I looked in da back and its like " See how it all started ..." and it showed all da books in da series.After finishing da 1800 series, i was hooked :D

I was 11. I read Teen Idol (my friend got me to read it) and then I was totally hooked on Meg Cabot books. So I begged my sister for suggestions (since she had read a ton of books by her, also) and I started reading the Mediator series.

I read the princess diaries books that were out when I was younger, about 9 I would say... But I didn't become really obsessed with her writing until the past year or two. I reread the princess diaries books, plus the new ones. I was totally hooked after princess in the spotlight, lol. And now I've read nearly everything she's ever written.

I was in 7th grade when I read Teen Idol so that would put me at... 13? I think it was a good age because I was just starting to get into more mature teen books as opposed to my middle grade books that I was focusing on.

I think I was thirteen when I read All-American Girl.
Actually, Avalon High was the book that caught my attention first, but I didn't read it. Then I flipped some pages of All-Amercan Girl and the word "vagina" in the first paragraphs or so made me think: What kind of book is this?
I took my time, read it, and loved it. From there I discovered Ready or Not at a public library and realized I already loved the author. Not so literally but you know what I mean.
So from there, I kind of obessed over the books by Meg. And here I am! :D

The first book I read was the first Princess Diaries book when I was either 11 or 12. I had seen the movie first and when I read the book I was so angry. I thought and still think that if they made the movie more like the book, it would have been much better.

I was 18, I had seen PD the movie already - I think - and actually seen the books at a local store, but didn't pick it up until I was traveling the south of Spain. :D
PD2 kept me sane during the 10 hr flight home

Weeeeeeeell...the first Meg Cabot book I picked up to read was Victoria and the Rogue 5 years ago (when I was 9), but I used to hate reading books at that time, so I gave up. Next came Princess in Love when I was 11, and that was when I fell in love with Meg's books =D

Maby nine or ten. I really cant remember witch one the first book was. Probably the first Princess Diaries book or All American Girl. Then I think everything I read for the two next months was Meg Cabot books :D

Rofl I was like EIGHT when I read PD! No jokes! And aboutt.. 9 when I read Airhead. 10=Jinx. 1800WhereAreU-10. Tommy Sullivan AGAIN I was 10...
Yeah, my life is messed up. What is even more wacked out is I actually understood it all... :wacko:

And I also read the whole Twilight series when I was 8. :(

I read the first PD book when I was 15 or 16. I was attracted to it because the cover was interesting (pink with a shiny tiara lol) and it was in the journal entry format. Then I didn't read any of Meg's other books until I was maybe 19 and saw somewhere that PD1 was part of a SERIES! I was so excited that there were other books and started reading them. This summer I really got into getting some of Meg's other books and series from the library and reading them! :)

my granny Sadie actually bought me pd2 when i was about 8 or 9, but my mum thought i wouldnt understand it because of " big words ", i kept it in my room, then one day ( i was about 10 ) when i was looking around my wardrobe i found it and started t read it... i decided that i loved it and went on a mad hunt for the rest of them. i eventually found 1, 2, 3 & 4 in a car boot sale. i read them and still wanted to read more so, for christmas that year i asked for them... and i didnt get them!!! ...or so i thought, when my gran and grandad mac came they gave me this big box thing, i was like "oh my god this thing weighs a tonne... what could it be?!" it turned out to be the entire princess diaries series ( 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 & 10 )
so now i have 2 number one's 3 number two's 2 number three's 2 number four's and one each of the rest.

Let's see here, I guess I read my first Meg Cabot book (Princess Diaries) in the second grade after the movie came out. Though, I unfortunately did not understand it too well (like "Isn't Mia's dad dead? And didn't he have hair?"). When I reread the series a two years or so later, while on vacation (do you know how hard it is to find an English book in a foreign country?) and then I just got addicted ever since.

I was in fourth grade.. 3 years ago... so that means I was 8? :huh: Lol I have no idea... I do know that it was the Mediator Series :heartbeat: (#1- I can't stand when a series is started in the middle or something because it totally deletes the purpose of the most amazing first books :icon_study: ) Ever since I fell in love with the Mediator, I have fallen in love with Airhead and 1-800-WHERE-R-U. I know. I've seriously been slacking. :icon_redface:

For 3 years ``Shadowland`` looked at me in the library, so last week I decided to take it because I always see it and this time I thought oh what ever I'll take it and I read it in one day and I was suprised, then the next day I ran back to the library and took the reunion book. (In Estonia we only have Shadowland and Reunion, so I have to order other books in english from England I guess.:D)

I started reading her books when she use to go by Jenny Carroll - I was in middle school so 12-13 years old. I would go to the library and take out Mediator and 1-800 series but then both series had stopped and a while later I saw the name Suze Simon in a magazine (it was an excert for the latest book) and I was like who is Meg Cabot and why did she steal Jenny Carroll's plot. LOL I finally figured it out! So 12 years later and I'm still hooked.

I was a freshmen in high school, and originally picked up the first Princess Diaries so I could get my reading pages in for English, but I got hooked almost instantly, and continued reading all of them :). It was really great, because it almost felt like I went through high school with Mia and we were best friends. We started high school together and graduated together. The tenth book came out January of 2009, and I graduated in June that year. It was great, but really sad for me, when I read that last page in the tenth book. However, ever since I started them, I have read the third one "Princess in Love" every year at least once, because it's my favorite one, and then reread the entire series at least twice :).

I definitely give the Princess Diaries credit for getting me to love reading so much. :heartbeat: :icon_smurfin:

I read All American Girl when I was 10 or 11, but I didn't get really into it until I was 12 and read all the teen books. Just this summer (as a 15/16 year old) I read a lot of the adult books (like Heather Wells and all the Boy books), and reread the mediator and 1-800-where-r-u series. Too bad the Allie Finkle series didn't come out when I was still young.

I was thirteen years old when my grandmother first brought me PD1, which at the was a bad move because i wasn't interested in reading anything other than sci-fi and fantasy and also because I'm Dsylexia and at this point I had just learnt to read a year or so before hand and I hated reading anything less than 300 hundred pages because it made me feel stupid (I don't know, I was very sensitive about what I read back then and because it was more or less just after I had learnt to read properly, ( I couldn't stop reading once I learnt how. I just had to make up for all the time not being able to read and heheheh, I have, lol)) so I was actually a little insulted when my Grandmother brought me PD1 because of it size and the fairly easy-reading format because it made me feel like I hadn't come anywhere. And also because I found Mia very frustrating because even though I could relate to her on the subject of the difficulty maths and having your mother go out with and then marry your teacher, everything else just made me mad at her and the book, so I stopped and didn't pick it up again for a number of years. Though I didn't mind either of the movies, so shrugs, lol.
I was sixteen-seventeen years of age when I was introduced to The Mediator series and fell in love with them, they are still my favourite Meg Cabot series.
I picked up reading both the Airhead series and PD this year (I'm nineteen now, lol) and have enjoyed both immensely. PD still frustrates me at times but I've become more lenient with how I view the characters (well, all of them except Lil, because I serious do not like her.Never have)
